Author-illustrator Liisa Kallio has received the Kylli Koski Award for her book Teeny Beany (Pikku Papu), published in the Acorn (Tammenterho) series. Best-selling crime author Leena Lehtolainen is making history as her latest book Where Have All the Young Girls Gone (Minne tytöt kadonneet) is nominated for the Savonia Prize. Esko-Pekka Tiitinen‘s Kiven sylissä is also a runner-up with four other fiction novels published in 2010 competing for the Prize. The jury will reveal the winner on 3 January 2011.
