Elina Ahlbäck Literary Agency is a dynamic and independent Helsinki-based literary agency that represents Finnish authors’ translation and film rights. We are looking for a literary agent to join our sales and marketing team.
Ideally, the potential candidate should be:
– passionate about Finnish books and reading
– sales-oriented and set targets high
– savvy with social media and interested in developing our communication channels further
– confident in expressing oneself in foreign languages in writing and orally
– a precise, trustworthy and super nice team player
– if you’re experienced with design and layout programs, do let us know!
We are a mix of different kind of backgrounds, native tongues and educations: a Master’s degree or work experience in a related field is encouraged but not strictly required. The beginning date can be agreed on. Location of our head office is in central Helsinki, but we have had agents working remotely from London, NYC and LA, so if the world is where you’re at, we’re interested in hearing more.
