Earlier this month we got the opportunity to travel to Korea!
Massive thanks to FILI for the support and help and for The Embassy of Finland in Korea for organising the greatest networking event! The time in Korea was spent visiting the International Children’s Literature Festival on Nami Island where Finland was the guest of honour.

We also networked with publishers and book professionals in Korea and had great meetings with people who share our passion for books – massive thanks to our excellent co-agency Danny Hong Agency for their enthusiasm and help.
And of course, there was wandering around the city of Seoul and exploring local bookstores and libraries, including the famous COEX Starfield library.

We are so grateful for FILI and the Finnish Embassy for this trip and look forward to sharing more results of the trip with you! Korea is already an important market for us, with books such as the Monster Nanny series and Little Shop of Nightmares having made their way to Korea – and more to come!
