We are thrilled to announce that the German rights for SANG by Elina Pitkäkangas have been snapped up by cbj Verlag (Penguin Random House) in Germany! Previously, the rights have already been sold to Denmark and Turkey.
Cbj is the home of many bestselling international and German YA and crossover authors like Angie Thomas, Karen M McManus, Holly Black, Monika Feth, Naomi Novik and many more. They are part of Germany’s biggest book publisher, the Penguin Random House Group. We can’t wait to see their German edition of SANG which is scheduled for spring 2025!
SANG, the first part in a LGBTQIA+ friendly YA fantasy / romantasy duology with cross-over potential, has now been sold to four languages – and we are sure there are more to come soon, so watch this space! It is the winner of the Topelius award and City of Tampere Literature Prize. The sequel, NARAKA, will be published in Finland this fall.
Rights are still available for France, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, UK, etc – now is the time to secure this fantasy highlight for your list!
