We are delighted to introduce and welcome Martti Berner, our new Sales Lead and Literary Agent to the fast-growing Ahlback Agency. Martti Berner will start on August 5th, and he will be leading our sales team and selling rights to Germany, the Netherlands, Nordic Countries, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Martti Berner joins the agency as a sales lead, literary agent. He brings valuable experience from the film industry, having previously worked as a marketing manager at the film distribution company Cinemanse, a subsidiary of Aurora Studios. Prior to that, Martti held various roles in the marketing and sales teams at Finnkino. He has a passion for storytelling across all mediums – whether it’s on the big screen, the small screen, or the written page. Martti is thrilled to start a new chapter as a literary agent and looks forward to representing the amazing authors of the Ahlback Agency. He holds a bachelor’s degree in service management and is currently completing his MBA. Recently, he has been inspired by children’s books while reading to his two-year-old daughter.

Literary Agent Julia Bogen will relocate herself to Helsinki in August, and continues successfully selling rights to Italy, Hungary, Estonia and other Baltic territories, Southeast Europe, the Arabic world, and Southeast Asia. She is the main contact for our excellent Co-Agencies in Asia.
Rights & Contract Manager Linda Powell oversees Ahlback Agency’s contracts, invoicing and royalties as well as supporting the Agency’s sales team.
CEO, Literary Agent Elina Ahlbäck is selling rights to the UK and is responsible for Agency’s Film & TV rights. Elina is the main contact for our excellent Co-Agencies in North America, France and Spain.
Literary Agent Sten-Erik Tammemäe is on parental leave until January 7th, 2025.
