We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Solar Films Inc. Oy has optioned the Film & TV rights for Heikki Aalto-Alanen’s unique, internationally bestselling THE STORY OF AINO AND ALVAR AALTO! This is the love story of the world-famous, pioneering design couple Aino and Alvar Aalto, written by the Aaltos’ grandson and based on Aino and Alvar Aalto’s previously unpublished correspondence, photography, and drawings from 1921 to 1949. The book has been published in Japan, Italy, Hungary, Estonia, and in English and French by Phaidon Press, the world’s most prestigious art publisher. This deal was closed by Elina Ahlbäck at the Ahlback Agency.
