What do we need from you?
- First and foremost – passion for stories, Finnish & Nordic books, and reading
- You are a fast, proactive, and trustworthy team player
- Excellent communication skills and a mindset for growth
- Excellent skills in English and Finnish, strong copywriting skills
It would be great if you had:
- Experience and skills in the publishing, gaming, film, TV, or entertainment industries
- Proven record in sales, especially new business
- Excellent digital and social media skills
- Experience in using digital sales and marketing tools
The Literary Agent we are looking for will be responsible for selling Finnish authors’ works to international publishers in specific geographical areas. Being successful in the work requires excellent cooperation with the Agency’s team, authors, international publishers and local co-agents.
The passion for exporting Finnish literature to the world will be reflected in meetings with international customers, publishers, and buyers.
We need the agents to be well versed in creating buzz, excitement and momentum in selling rights to publishers and producers face-to-face as well as digitally.
